Samantha and Nick’s wedding day took place on a beautiful July Saturday in downtown Des Moines. It was such a timeless, classic day with the perfect romantic touches. I’m obsessed with the color palette they chose! Neutrals and blush will never go out of style.

Their ceremony took place at the Rose Garden, also in Des Moines, and it was one of the prettiest outdoor setups that I’ve seen! I absolutely love outdoor ceremonies because you just can’t go wrong with nature as your backdrop. After the ceremony, we headed back to the Tea Room for their reception. Samantha and Nick’s reception/dance was definitely a highlight of the day! They both love music and dance and it was so fun to see them living it up on the dance floor.

Pro tip- if you want fun, party dance photos like Samantha and Nick’s, make sure you get your whole wedding party out on the dance floor while your photographer is still there!
