First off, congratulations!! I’m so excited you’re here, and I’d love to be a part of capturing your wedding day. If you’re reading this, you’re likely deep in the wedding planning process (and probably hunting for a photographer who just gets you). Trust me, I know how overwhelming it can all feel. I got married recently too, so I’m here to make things as easy and fun as possible!

So, a quick intro—hi, I’m Kelsey! I’m a wedding and portrait photographer based in small-town northwest Iowa. I’ve been a photographer for over seven years now, and I genuinely can’t imagine doing anything else. My style is laid-back and focused on capturing those real, meaningful moments that make you feel something. I want you to look back and not just see how it all looked, but remember exactly how it felt.

I know a lot of couples feel “awkward in front of the camera” or “not photogenic,” but here’s the thing — you don’t need to be! I’ll pose you and guide you when needed, but I’m also here to catch the unposed, in-between moments that show your real connection. Let’s make photos you’ll fall in love with, memories you’ll cherish forever, and an experience that feels as relaxed and natural as possible!

COMPLIMENTARY ENGAGEMENT SESSION

My wedding packages come with a complimentary engagement session (or the option to add one on). I love engagement sessions because they give us a chance to hang out and get comfortable before the big day! You’ll get familiar with my style and feel more confident in front of the camera. Whether it’s in a spot that’s special to you both or just somewhere with a gorgeous view, we’ll make it a session you’ll love looking back on!

CUSTOM TIMELINE PLANNING

I’m here to help make your day as smooth and stress-free as possible! I’ll work with you to create a timeline that makes sure you have time for all the photos you’re dreaming of, without feeling rushed. From first looks to golden hour shots, we’ll plan it all so you can enjoy every moment without a worry!

ONLINE GALLERY

Within six weeks of your wedding, you’ll get a personalized online gallery with all your photos! From there you’ll be able to quickly download, share, and print them. It’s super easy to use, so you can relive your day and share those memories with family and friends as soon as they’re ready.

Where are you located & what are your travel fees?

I am based in Sioux Center, IA. Wedding day travel fees are included in my wedding packages so there are are no hidden costs or surprises for you down the road!

Engagement sessions located further than 40 miles roundtrip from me will have an additional travel fee of $1/mile (if you’re thinking about a destination session, ask me for a custom quote).

FAQ

Do we have full access to all of the photos in our gallery?

Yes! You will be able to download all of the photos you see in the gallery. There will be a gallery store where you can order albums and prints from, or you may download and print the photos where you wish.

Do we get the raw, unedited photos?

I totally get the curiosity about raw photos, but I don’t deliver unedited images to clients. Editing is a huge part of my creative process and allows me to bring out the style and feel that makes your photos uniquely “you” while also staying true to my brand. The final edits are where I bring in the light, softness, and warmth that reflect my work. I want you to have a polished gallery of images that represents my style and gives you beautiful memories to treasure, so every photo you receive will be fully edited and ready to enjoy!

FAQ

Will you Photoshop me to make me look better?

I believe in capturing you just as you are, so I don’t use Photoshop to alter bodies or change anything that’s a permanent part of you, like birthmarks or moles. My goal is to reflect your natural beauty and unique features in every photo! However, if there’s something temporary, like acne or a bruise, I’m happy to edit that out upon request. I want you to feel confident and comfortable in your photos while keeping them true to you.
